PROJECT OPERATIONS ENGINEER – PERMANENT – SURREY

Our Client, an offshore oil and gas contractor, is currently looking for a Project Operations Engineer to join the team in Surrey with missions to Italy, Romania and Offshore on board a heavy lift vessel during mob and installation, so must be able and happy to work overseas and offshore when required

Must have experience with project operations engineering within the oil and gas industry.

JOB SCOPE

The job involves the opportunity to work on the installation of a jacket and topsides as well as the associated subsea infrastructure in support of a large field development in the Black Sea.

The primary mission of the Project Operations Engineer is to prepare and run the offshore operations of the semi-submersible heavy lift vessel.

During the project preparation phase, the Project Operations Engineer will:

  • Liaise with the Installation engineering and other technical dept. to formulate objectives and requirements.
  • Define and follow the procurement of the installation aids and relevant contract of services for his / her work scope(s).
  • Prepare the offshore marine spread associated with the semi-submersible heavy lift vessel.
  • Interface with Fabrication team regarding the preparation of the various SIT and Loadouts.
  • Organize the mobilization/demobilization of the heavy lift vessel and its associated marine spread.

During the offshore installation phase, the Project Operations Engineer will:

– Coordinate the offshore activities on-board the vessel as project representative.

  • Organize the logistics of the materials with the onshore logistics team.
  • Prepare the project close-out and return of experience.
