Excel are delighted to partner with a dynamic engineering consultancy in hiring an experienced PSDP Consultant to be based in their Dublin office on a hybrid basis. This is a permanent position with the option to work from home up to 3 times per week!Key Responsibilities for PSDP Consultant
- Ensure the effective discharge of PSDP responsibilities on construction projects.
- Attend client, design, and site meetings.
- Prepare preliminary safety and health plans.
- Compile and manage safety files.
- Generate health and safety reports.
- Conduct site visits.
- Coordinate and liaise with all stakeholders involved in construction projects.
- Review the competence of duty holders.
- Conduct inspections and prepare reports related to health and safety legal matters.
- Collaborate with contractors to fulfill PSCS responsibilities on construction projects.
Requirements for PSDP Consultant
- Degree in Construction or a related field desirable (e.g., Architecture, Building Surveying, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering).
- 3-5 years’ experience in a PSDP Consulting role.
- Occupational health and safety qualifications and/or experience.
