QA Automation Test Engineer (€60k-€65k)Cork, Ireland – HybridKey Requirements:Over 5 years of experience in test automation in a customer-focused environment.Extensive hands-on experience in creating automated tests using TypeScript and WebdriverIO.Familiarity with the Mocha testing framework is a plus.Skilled with test management tools and automation frameworks like Cypress, Postman, Playwright, Appium, Selenium, Jira Xray, and Zephyr.Proficient in using source control and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, along with various debugging tools.Solid experience with JIRA for issue tracking and project management.Practical experience in testing APIs and microservices.Knowledge of deploying and building microservices in cloud environments, ideally AWS, using tools like Yarn.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team.A B.Sc. degree or equivalent vocational experience is required.Your Day in the office:Start the day with a brief team meeting to review progress, identify challenges, and set goals.Collaborate with developers to build automation tests as new features are being developed.Perform manual testing for aspects that can’t be automated, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.Act as the voice of the customer in UX planning, ensuring that products are designed with the end user in mind.Participate in retrospectives after sprints to identify pain points and contribute ideas for process enhancements.Work with the team to prioritise automation tasks and define approaches for test automation.Our client cannot provide sponsorship for this role unfortunately.If you are interested in this position, then please hit ‘Apply’ below or contact Samuel in Reperio Human Capital for more information.
