Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and execute test plans and test cases for Genesys Cloud solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing of telecom applications and services integrated with Genesys Cloud.
• Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in the system.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and support teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Perform regression testing, performance testing, and stress testing to ensure system stability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Utilize automated testing tools to enhance the efficiency and coverage of the testing process.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Genesys Cloud and telecom technologies, ensuring the application of best practices in QA processes.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers on potential issues and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in telecom and cloud environments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (minimum 5 years hands-on) as a QA Engineer, specifically with Genesys Cloud solutions.
• In-depth understanding of telecom industry standards, protocols, and best practices.
• Proficiency in testing telecom applications, including VoIP, SIP, IVR, and contact center solutions.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in QA (e.g., ISTQB) and Genesys Cloud (e.g., Genesys Certified Professional).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Knowledge of network infrastructure and security in telecom environments.
