ObjectiveWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Systems Lead to support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Q-Pulse Electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) within a single business division. This role combines technical system oversight with administrative coordination and training support to ensure the business meets its quality and compliance obligations effectively.Company BackgroundUniphar Group is a leading service provider within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector headquartered in Ireland. - Supply Chain Services provides both pre-wholesale and wholesale distribution of pharmaceutical, healthcare and animal health products to pharmacies, hospitals and veterinary surgeons in Ireland. The business supports a diverse customer base through the provision of strong service levels coupled with innovative commercial initiatives. In addition, the business provides services and supports that help independent community pharmacy to compete more effectively in an increasingly difficult environment and runs a network of Uniphar-owned pharmacies under the Life Allcare and Hickeys brands.
- Our Product Access Services businesses support healthcare professionals and their patients to access unlicensed or otherwise difficult to procure medicines. Within the division we now concentrate on two specific business areas: On Demand Access and Exclusive Access. Uniphar, through the PharmaSource, has had a lot of success in this area, thanks to our strong pharmacy relationships and our ability to access two million pharmaceutical products through 100 global suppliers.
- Our Commercial & Clinical division provide outsourced services, specifically sales, marketing and multichannel account management to pharmaco-medical manufacturers, and distribution and support services to medical device manufacturers. Uniphar offer a fully integrated multi-channel account management solution that is supported through market data, insights and digital programmes. We integrate these programmes with our supply chain and distribution capability to provide a full end to end service to manufacturers.

You will also need to be a good leader, able to get the best from your own team and to work cross functionally and interact effectively with people at all levels of the business.MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESQMS Administration & Compliance
- Act as the divisional system administrator for Q-Pulse, ensuring day-to-day functionality and user support.
- Liaise with the QMS vendor, Global QMS Lead and internal IT teams for issue resolution, system updates, and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including GxP, ISO 9001, EU GMP Annex 11, and 21 CFR Part 11.
- Conduct testing and validation activities in support of QMS upgrades and enhancements.
- Maintain clean, controlled documentation and process flows within the QMS.
- Assist in managing system changes through change control and risk assessment procedures.
- Monitor and issue divisional QMS KPIs and performance metrics to track training and procedural compliance.
Training Management & Documentation Control
- Oversee the assignment and tracking of training plans, job role competencies, and procedural training through Q-Pulse.
- Ensure training compliance for new and updated procedures; maintain accurate training records.
- Assist departments in defining and maintaining training matrices and competence requirements.
- Support users in the navigation, understanding, and effective use of the QMS for training and documentation tasks.
- Assist with the creation, review, and approval of controlled documents and procedures.
- Manage the migration of documents and training content into Q-Pulse and maintain system integrity.
- Provide training sessions and act as a subject matter expert in documentation and training compliance.
Quality Support & Continuous Improvement
- Support the investigation and resolution of deviations and non-conformances related to documentation and training.
- Contribute to quality system improvements and divisional initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in internal audits, external inspections, and act as a liaison for quality system-related inquiries.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and compliance across the division.
- Support general quality assurance tasks and projects as directed by the QMS Lead or Divisional QA Manager.
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Proven experience with Microsoft and proficiency with IT platforms.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Word, Excel, and quality/training systems (Q-Pulse, SAP desirable).
