In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to apply your entrepreneurial and relationship-building skills, leading a dedicated professional team that plays a crucial role in providing top-quality care.Position Overview:BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regional Care Manager for the Northeast and West Region. The Regional Care Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality home care services across multiple locations within the assigned region. This role involves managing a team of Care Managers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving business growth. The Regional Care Manager is also responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, their families, and healthcare partners, ensuring that services are tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of home care services within the assigned region, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Manage and support a team of Care Managers, Care Coordinators, and care staff, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business targets and implement strategies to achieve growth and service excellence.

Client Care Oversight:

  • Ensure that all care packages are delivered in line with best practices and meet the specific needs of each client.
  • Conduct regular audits of care plans and service delivery to maintain high standards of care and compliance.
  • Handle escalated client concerns or complaints, working closely with Care Managers to resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and industry standards, including those set by the HSE and HIQA.
  • Lead quality assurance initiatives and participate in internal and external audits.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

Team Development:

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities for Care Managers and their teams.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and support the professional development of team members.
  • Assist in recruitment and retention efforts to build a strong and dedicated care team.

Business Development:

  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Senior Management Team to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the HSE, community organisations, and healthcare professionals, to drive referrals and business growth.
  • Participate in marketing and community engagement activities to raise the profile of the organisation’s services.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Regularly report on regional performance, including service delivery, financial metrics, and client satisfaction, to the Senior Management Team.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders, including clients, families, staff, and external partners.
  • Ensure that all documentation and reporting are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with data protection regulations.

The post holder may be required to undertake other duties as necessary to meet the needs and responsibilities of the Company.Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior management role within the home care sector.
  • Strong knowledge of care management, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Strong business acumen, with experience in achieving KPIs, and driving growth.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, staff, and external partners.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and care management software.
  • Full, clean driving licence and access to a car for travel within the region
