That’s Grant Thornton.Job Description:Regions Marketing and BD Senior Manger – North and ScotlandNEW GROUND WON’T BREAK ITSELF.Every day our teams help people in businesses and communities to do what is right and achieve their goals.This key role in our growth strategy will work alongside our Practice Leads in the North and Scotland to ensure that a clear go to market strategy is in place for the region and its offices, with KPIs in place for the Partner and Director community locally.The role works closely with local teams to ensure they are set up for success, and to win in the market. It is also a conduit between the national marketing teams and the local offices, ensuring that national go to market outputs are utilised effectively as sales enablement support.This is a leadership role of a small team based across the region, comprising of a Manager and an Executive, ensuring that they are able to be effective in delivering against their objectives in an agile manner, focusing on the biggest opportunities across the geography.We’re happy to talk flexible working and consider reduced hours and job shares, we’ll support you to balance your work and life.A look into the roleAs a Regions Marketing and BD Senior Manager within our Markets & Clients team you will:Co-lead development of a growth strategy for the region with Practice leaders. This will include market mapping, competitor scanning and identifying key opportunities for growth within the client & target base, and intermediary community.Lead on execution of the strategy by bringing together Partner and Directors to discuss growth at a regional clients and markets board/s.Lead on a programme of sales enablement activity for Relationship Directors and Partners and Directors: Development of regional target lists in collaboration with service line and Sector teams, delivery of local sales campaigns (competitor, local issues etc), research on targets and meeting prep, management of follow up, pipeline management, embedding KPIs.Development of an intermediary strategy in support of Relationship Directors and local teamsAlign the local strategy with the national go to market priorities and integrate plans with other service line and sector teamsSupport Partners and Directors with a structured process to account management including measures against agreed KPIsSupports the central Client insights team in driving the client voice programme in the region, including co-ordination of on-line and face-to-face reviews and engagement with Partners / Directors to ensure completion of all follow up actions.Ensure the Grant Thornton brand is protected and enhanced in the local market through a clear PR and Media strategy. Own the relationship with PR agency locally, identifying the relevant spokespeople across the local officesPeople management of the wider Regional Growth team developing their skills and helping them successfully deliver their objectivesManaging a budget and actively participating in the broader regional growth team across the UK, collaborating on ideas, sharing successes and finding efficiencies in ways of workingKnowing you’re right for usJoining us as a Regions Marketing and BD Senior Manager the minimum criteria you’ll need is a proven track record in a similar business development and marketing role with a focus on delivering commercial outcomes. Experience in developing growth strategies and executing alongside a team is also essential.
