About the home/Company:Our 3-bedroom children’s home in Canvey Island provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children aged 7-18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).We prioritise respect, individualised care, inclusivity, empowerment, and safety, actively encouraging community integration and involvement. Currently the home is applying for registration, we strive to create a warm, supportive, and enriching environment where every child can feel at home and flourish.Essentials

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services; or equivalent; or a preparedness to work towards the same.
• Demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development.3 years’ experience working with children in the last 5 years and at least 1 year at senior level.
• Supervision or management experience.
• Working with children, young people and their families.
• Work in a residential setting.
• Inter-agency work.

Experience:

• Management in a children’s residential: 2 years (required)
