Role: Reinsurance ClaimsReinsurance Claims Handler wanted for Global Reinsurance Group-Dublin City/HybridAbrivia are currently recruiting for a Reinsurance Claims Handler to join our client, a leading international reinsurance company, at their Dublin office. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across diverse reinsurance portfolios, including Specialty, Lloyd’s Syndicate, and multinational claims.Your Role

• Managing claims across specialty reinsurance lines such as Aviation, Cyber, Marine, Energy, and Political Risk.
• Handling binder business claims for Lloyd’s Syndicate across multiple lines, including Casualty, Property, and D&O.
• Supporting claims from international reinsurance entities, covering lines such as Property, Trade Credit, and Workers’ Compensation.
• Reviewing and processing claim notifications using core IT systems.
• Liaising with clients, brokers, and underwriters to ensure efficient claims handling and communication.
• Approving claims and treaty statements within agreed authority levels or escalating where required.
• Providing updates to underwriters on claims developments.
• Performing additional duties as required.

Your Skills

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in (re)insurance claims handling.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in claims management systems and general IT tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and probe when needed.
• High ethical standards and integrity.
