- To research and develop novel computing paradigms beyond traditional von Neumann architectures
- To bridge the gap between theoretical computer architecture concepts and practical hardware implementations
- To drive innovation in computing architectures for AI/ML accelerators and next-generation telecommunications systems
- To define and contribute to medium/long-term business impacting research programs.
- To act as technical advisor towards various internal and external stakeholders through technical cooperation, customer visits & knowledge transfers.
Main Responsibility Area
- Design and evaluate novel computing architectures for specific application domains (AI/ML, telecommunications, security)
- Develop proof-of-concept implementations of alternative computing paradigms
- Create architectural models and simulators for emerging computing paradigms, such as neuromorphic, quantum, or optical computing
Participate in research publications and patent applicationsResponsibilities:Main Responsibility Area

- Demonstrate innovative thinking in architectural design for specific application domains
- Ability to evaluate and benchmark different computing architectures, including performance models for novel computing systems
- Capability to translate theoretical concepts into practical hardware implementations
- Active participation in the research community through publications and conferences
Qualifications:
- PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Understanding of modern computer architecture principles and alternative computing paradigms
- Experience with hardware description languages (VHDL/Verilog) and high-level synthesis tools
- Knowledge of AI/ML algorithms and their hardware implementation challenges
- Familiarity with one or more of: neuromorphic computing, quantum computing, analog computing, or in-memory computing
- Experience with performance modeling and simulation of computer architecture
- Publication record in relevant conferences/journals is a plus
- Fluent in English and a natural communicator in a multi-disciplinary team
