Resident Engineer – Highways Project – LimerickEmployerOur Client is one of the world’s largest and most diverse providers of professional technical services.They offer full-spectrum support to pharmaceutical, industrial, commercial and government clients across multiple markets.Job DescriptionAssist with the administration of the Contract (Employer Design Public Works Contract PWC CF3) subject to duties delegated by the Employer’s Representative. This will typically include; draft progress reports, monthly valuations (Interim payment certificates), claims determination letters, response to Conciliation Statements of Claim, responses to RFIs and other contractor’s correspondence.Ensure that detailed reports, diaries and records (hard and soft copies), including photographic records, in relation to all aspects of progress of the works are kept and available for inspection by authorised personnel.Keep records of all information relating to delays, industrial disputes, adverse physical conditions and disputes with sub-contractors and landowners.Attend regular site meetings and ensure that proceedings are minuted for circulation to all relevant personnel.Keep any other site supervisory staff informed on matters which may influence their work.Be aware at all times of the duties of contractors, sub-contractors and others under Safety, Health and Welfare at Work legislation and in particular the provision of;A safe place of work and safe access and egress to a place of workA safe system of workSafe plant and machineryAppropriate personnel protective equipmentArrangements for the welfare of employeesLiaise with statutory undertakers and stakeholders as required.Package€30-€36 per hourContract position, min 12 months but likely to be extendedContactAaron Behan is the consultant managing this position.If you have any queries about this role, you can contact Aaron by e-mail aaron@jobcontax.com or phone +353-1-9696684tagciv
