Do you enjoy meeting and working with a variety of people?We are currently have an exciting new opportunity at Basildon Hospital to work in our newly refurbished Restaurant as a Catering supervisor.If you have the desired skills and want to work in a team focused environment, please apply today.Main duties of the jobIf successful you will work in our busy but friendly catering department.Your duties will include:Basic food preparation, including packing, labelling, displaying and chilling of sandwiches and other food products.Serving meals within the agreed standards for portion control and presentation.Supervising a small team, including rosters, annual leave and sickness managementImprove our patients, visitors and staff experience through good food and friendly attitudeAbout usWith a workforce of approximately 15,000 staff, we can now do more and go further in delivering health services to our local communities.Our ambition is to deliver excellent local and specialist services, to improve the health and wellbeing of our patients, and provide a vibrant place for staff to develop, innovate and build careers.Patients will experience improved care as well as fewer delays and cancellations.
