The roleThe University of Bristol Campus Division is seeking to appoint an exceptional individual as our Cleaning Services Manager (responsible for our residential estate). The individual will join our Residential Cleaning team (comprising 100+ staff) in this newly created post and will act as the day to day lead on operational delivery for all cleaning activity, dealing proactively with complaints and performance, and liaising with university colleagues to ensure our delivery of cleaning services helps enhance the student experience within our student halls.What will you be doing?
- Planning delivery of cleaning activity within the residential estate and forecasting demands during peak periods whilst ensuring consistency in service delivery
- Ensuring operational capacity is maintained and any potential demands are identified and well resourced.
- Ensure budget priorities are achieved
- Lead on recruitment, service delivery, improvements and innovation
- Manage first line staff performance and conduct issues
- Ensure stock control is managed in a way that provides necessary Management information
- Ensure health and safety compliance and staff training e.g. COSHH
- Work with Campus Division colleagues to implement changes in order to improve service delivery
