Business Development manager in Manchester for a freight forwarder, RoadFulltime PositionBusiness development manager required for a Logistics company in Greater Manchester, this roles will be based on road freight forwarding and road freight. This role is based around external sales and new business. The patch will include sales to companies looking for EU and UK road freight. Business development manager, £45-55k salary plus bonus. The role will come with either a company car, car allowance or electric car scheme (whichever is better for you) plus a fantastic 26 days holiday plus ban holidays.The role
We are looking for a business development manager to run a patch for the road freight for uk and eu transit’s for this freight forwarding and logistics company. You will approach new businesses, and arrange calls, quotes and face-to-face meetings. You will secure new business and increase repeat business from one-off bookings to regular. This role will include all the normal business development duties.Experience
We are looking for a business development manager who ideally over the past 3 years with EU road freight sales. you will be a good communicator and able to close sales.

- office or home based / field based meeting clients in greater Manchester
- External sales / New Business
- EU Road, Uk Domestic
- £45k-£55k potentially higher but expectation/target is based on salary
- Revenue target. split between Charter ( FTL/ LTL) and Groupage – 600-800,000 per year depending on the above.
- Company car, car allowance or Electric car scheme through Octopus
- Holidays, 26 plus bank hols
- Enrolled into company pension scheme
- Ideally, sold EU road for at least 3 yrs
