Every day, we help our customers solve complex challenges by safely managing materials that could otherwise spread disease, contaminate the environment, or compromise one’s identity.Join us on our mission to protect health and well-being in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.Position Purpose:The Route Manager represents the overall interests of the company and is responsible for the route planning, customer service, administration, monitoring and optimizing the operational performance of service delivery across RWCS and Shred-it.Key Job Activities:Oversee a team of dispatchers/route planners covering namely the below but not limited toPlans and manages routing system for clients’ requests.Keeps costs to a minimum according to the company targets ensuring the cost-effective deployment of resource.Resolves service problems in accordance with set deadlines.Managing all incoming collection schedules by entering onto systems and validating the content against collection point criteria whilst identifying any potential issues.Route audits of client calls so as to ensure maximum optimization of return on assets and client satisfaction.Working with transport ensuring fleet management with regards to availability for daily routing, incoherence with maintenance provider.Liaison with sales team with regards to both current and new customer requirements.Providing a high level of customer service and communication, ensuring all information requests are dealt with in a timely manner.Ensuring all traffic planning activity is undertaken in line with legislative requirements and using all appropriate IT systems.Builds a strong working relationship with Customer Service, Commercial and Operations TeamsUndertake any ad – hoc requests by Operations Manager.Supporting the Site Administration team.Education:University/college education or equivalent experience.Experience (EMEAA):Experience of managing and routing a multi-truck fleet.Multi-site and remote management experience is required.Experience of managing KPIs and P&L.Experience of working in a customer service environment.Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety guidelines.Certifications and/or Licenses:Benefits:Stericycle offers you:
