This Work Placement Experience Programme -WPEP will provide the ideal candidate with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience, learning and training with our team while on the programme. The role involves a mix of customer service and active hands-on work in a busy store. Greeting and assisting customers with Furniture and Flooring Putting Sales on the computer system Assembling Furniture Moving, lifting, and organising furniture and flooring Maintaining a clean and organised store Answering the phone Taking paymentsRole Description This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP. Informal Training: How to Sell How to use computer system Taking payments Customer Service Team work Organisation & Planning Formal Training: Manual Handling First Aid Health & Safety
