Join our Sales Associate team and bring your passion and talent to work.Sales Associate 100%Mechelen, BelgiumYour contributionAs a Sales Associate for LSB products, you will play a critical role in supporting Tecan’s mission and growth objectives.You will be part of a global team dedicated to driving and facilitating sales pipeline generation for Tecan products, ensuring a steady influx of qualified leads to support revenue growth.In this position, you will proactively identify and nurture potential business opportunities, engage with prospects, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to refine sales strategies.Responsibilities

• Proactive market prospection to identify potential customers and business opportunities
• Lead generation through various channels (online research, campaigns, referrals, networking, industry events)
• Lead qualification based on predefined criteria to assess sales potential and prioritize follow-ups
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date lead and customer information in CRM systems
• Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to align lead generation efforts with business strategies
• Engaging with prospects to understand their needs and scheduling product demos
• Monitoring and analyzing sales pipeline metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Adhering to global and regional processes, ensuring compliance with Tecan’s sales approach
• Gathering insights on competitors and market trends to enhance positioning and sales strategies

Your backgroundWe’re not just looking for hard skills: We’re looking for people who bring their passion and talent to work.

• Master’s degree in life sciences or a related relevant discipline (PhD in Biology or related field is a plus)
• Wet lab experience with good theoretical knowledge of technology commonly used in LSB labs
• Objective-driven, structured, and pragmatic working style with the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn, with strong networking skills
• Prior exposure to biotechnology, life science instrumentation, and/or laboratory automation is a significant advantage
• Experience with CRM systems and MS Office Suite
• Experience using search databases such as ZoomInfo, Sclieleads, etc., is a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (fluency required); knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus
• Sales and customer-oriented mindset with an outgoing personality
