Sales Executive

Working as part of a Sales team, you will be responsible for all aspects of communicating customer needs internally with colleagues across departments relating to inventory management, order placement, delivery, customer forecasts, production demand, documentation, follow up, escalation and problem resolution. Successful candidate must have strong communication, organisational, planning and teamwork Skills. Successful candidate will be responsible for growing and managing sales to both new and existing customers and will report directly to the Sales & Marketing Director.Job Title SALES EXECUTIVEKey Responsibilities:Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationshipsAchieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes in short, medium, and long-term in line with company sales development strategyManage Key Accounts and liaise with customer departments including purchasing, production, EH&S & LogisticsAbility to create and deliver presentations tailored to the customer needsPresent, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customersExpedite the resolution of customer queries to maximize satisfactionAnalyse sales data/trends and status reportsCoordinate sales effort with internal departments team members and other departmentsSupply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.The candidate:Essential Criteria· 3rd level qualification in a Business or Science related field· Previous experience in internal or external Sales· Good spoken and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)A strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environmentDevelop strong working relationships with customers, colleagues and CRM practicesHighly motivated and target driven team player with the ability to work on one’s own initiativeAbility to communicate across functional departments and work to deadlinesProcedure Orientated with a clear understanding of project management philosophiesEffective time management skillsProblem SolverGood Listening Skills and information assimilation capabilitiesDesirable Criteria· Knowledge of APICS Supply Chain Management would be advantageousReporting toSales & Marketing DirectorBasisThis is a full-time position with a probationary period of 6-months.BasedProduction facility Naas, Co. Kildare. Travel to customers facilities within Ireland required.
