At InterContinental London Park Lane, we are currently looking to for a Sales Executive for the Middle Eastern Market to join our growing team.

As our Sales Executive you will be responsible for supporting sales activities and client liaison for the Middle Eastern Market and region. Reporting directly to the Business Development Director ME you will maximize sales through structured sales planning and action to achieve/exceed budgeted targets in all revenue areas. Working closely with the hotel BDD ME you will provide property liaison for all Middle East VIPs including meeting and greeting and coordinate between sales and operations and to ensure all cultural and VIP requirements are met, by working very closely with the hotel’s Guest Relations and Guest Experience Team.

You will also be responsible for reactive sales with a particular focus on supporting London based third parties, such as Local DMCs for Middle East, local Middle East corporate and providing support to the Embassy and Diplomatic sales along with general administrative duties including client hospitality, sales tools and initiatives, the management of relevant performance trackers and the production and delivery of the sales performance reports (versus targets, KPI’s and overall sales objectives).

Our Sales Executives have:

  • At least 1 years’ experience in the service and hospitality industry is essential for this role. Hotel Operations experience such as Front Office/Guests Relations is preferred.
  • Strong strategic planning skills, ability to look ahead and strategies in place to support the plans.
  • A degree of knowledge of all market segments i.e., corporate, conference
  • The ability to work well under pressure, with minimal supervision and maintain high standards and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in using Microsoft packages, Delphi knowledge is desirable plus knowledge of Opera Sales and Catering.
  • The ability to demonstrates relevant functional experience and good knowledge of relevant topics and collaboration with other hotel departments.
  • Experience in coaching and supporting team members to develop.
