• Working in conjunction with the sales team providing one-to-one consultations, and working on customers’ projects from initial meeting through to after-sale service.
• Provide quotations based on customer requirements and budget.
• Handle sales returns, complaints, and issues within the showroom professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure a seamless 5-star customer journey from start to finish.
• Help maintain the appearance of the showroom through visual merchandising as well as maintaining orderliness by keeping it neat and clean.
• Go the extra mile for the customers and be always ready to help.
• Perform general administrative support tasks (answering phones, cashier closing, receipt of merchandise, tracking, transfers, inventories) and follow up on all quotes promptly with all current and potential customers.
• Process various payment methods including cash, Realex, PayPal, and vouchers.
• Manage and cultivate relationships with existing customers.
• Log warranties for cardio machines and perform general administration duties such as invoicing.
• Proactively contribute to the sales and margin development of the overall showroom team performance.
• Takes initiative to complete necessary tasks around the store.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or sales industry experience.
• Working knowledge of the sports and fitness industry is preferred.
• Personal training qualification or experience is an advantage.
• An upbeat, friendly and positive attitude.
• Well able to work in a team atmosphere.
• Very well-organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong customer focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and independently.
