We are now looking for a
Sales Manager (Telecom)
To join our vibrant team in Sweden. You will take ownership of the development and growth of our business in the Swedish market by developing and implementing winning strategic sales plans. You will have the opportunity to work with comprehensive telecom solutions for high-speed data transmission, broadband networks, and telecommunications infrastructure, and represent brands such as Draka, known for innovative fiber optic solutions. If you have a proven track record in technical sales and a passion for the telecom industry, this might be the right role for you!
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and sales targets in the telecom sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
- Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, tenders, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer projects.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Take full responsibility for the development and growth of the telecom business in Sweden.
- Work within a matrix organization, reporting to the Country Sales Director and the Regional Business Unit Manager for Telecom.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the technical industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in teams and take initiative.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel within Sweden as required – your home office can be anywhere in Sweden, but most accounts have offices in the capital area.
