This role will require leadership in the deployment, development and coaching of team members through successful adaption to local market conditions. You are accountable for achieving and exceeding sales goals. You will be responsible for sales strategy, planning, operations, training, and team performance. To be successful, you will need to represent the voice of the customer effectively, ensure team engagement is high, and work together with cross functional teams. This role reports to the General Manager, Northern Europe.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSales Planning and Operations
- Work closely with the area sales and service team to help them achieving and exceeding annual and quarterly sales targets. This position is accountable to achieving the annual sales plan for UKI.
- Ensure the sales funnel is being managed effectively from leads to implementation. Ensure sales forecasts are accurate and any major changes to sales are communicated across the chain.
- Working in collaboration with your team and cross functional associates, plan and execute customer events and other strategic projects to achieve intended outcomes. This position is accountable for planning and managing OpEx for the region.
- Working in partnership with the GM and commercial finance, ensure deals align with pricing guidelines and any possible exemption are brought to management attention proactively/and ahead of time
- Set annual sales plan in close collaboration with the GM. Communicate and act on a timely basis maximize opportunities and minimize threats as they occur
- Manage communication channels cross-functionally: communications with Technical Service, Marketing, Customer Support, Supply Chain Management, Patient Affairs, Commercial Excellence, and Commercial Finance are of key importance.
Business Insights and Customer Engagements
- Act as an effective voice of the customer, communicate relevant information from customer experiences to new market trends to your team and cross functional groups. Proactively seek out information to learn about the market and patient needs.
- Provide input to Marketing on key learnings and developments in the market
- Spend sufficient time collecting and documenting market information from market share to share of the wallet, competitive threat assessment, upselling and cross selling targets. Understand changing regulatory, compliance and policy environments in partnership with regulatory, legal, marketing, patient affairs.
