Reference: 4521We are pleased to be recruiting for a Sales Support Coordinator to join a growing business based in Chesham.This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to join a supportive, fast-paced company. If you have a passion or thrive within a customer service environment, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!As part of this role, you will be responsible for assisting the external sales team by upselling products to internal customers. We are looking for someone enthusiastic who isn’t shy to answer the phone and build relationships. We are ideally looking for someone who has a few years office-based experience, whether that be in a customer service or administrative role.We would also be open to someone without office-based experience as long as they have that drive and eagerness to learn – full training will be offered on-site!This is a Monday to Friday position, hours are 9am to 5pm with a 1-hour lunch break. This role is fully office-based. The company offer a number of fantastic benefits including an excellent bonus opportunity per quarter based on sales targets, 25 days holiday, free parking on site, excellent pension scheme plus many more.This role is paying up to £28,000 depending on candidate experience.Duties include:

  • Upselling of company products to existing customers.
  • Identify customer product gaps to increase sales growth.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers in your area.
  • Build strong working relationships with the external sales team.
  • Communicate potential sales leads with the external sales team to increase sales and profitability in the business.
  • Meet personal and Internal Sales team targets and set KPI’s.
  • Process incoming orders, pro-forma’s and returns.
  • Ensure all information is sent to the warehouses within the required timescales for orders to be fulfilled and despatched/delivered on time.
  • Handle customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives.
  • Responding to email enquiries.
  • Manage incoming phone calls.
  • Confirming prices, stock availability and delivery timeframes.

Candidate requirements:

  • Results driven.
  • Customer focused with the ability to adapt to different situations.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Used to working in a busy office environment.
  • Computer literate and able to adapt to new systems quickly.
