SNV’s CRWASH program aims to accelerate progress in water, sanitation and hygiene by strengthening the capacity of provincial and district-level local governments, private sector actors and other local stakeholders for more efficient and effective service delivery in climate-resilient water, sanitation and hygiene. The team’s activities are focused on strengthening decentralised climate-resilient WASH systems with an emphasis on climate change adaptation, gender, disability, social inclusion and safely managed water, sanitation and hygiene services.

Job Description

Under the direction of Project Coordinator, the Sanitation Officer will be responsible for carrying out activities in Phalanxay districts, including

• Prepare weekly activity plan to achieve target
• Source and track prospective customers for buying the latrine
• Liaise with district and local leadership to support sanitation promotion and potential customer identification
• Conduction group promotion and household sales calls for sanitation options
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of the sanitation components
• Provide daily and weekly reports on prospects, sales and deliveries

Qualifications

• Personality that has a passion for work, sales, or developing community.
• High sense of Responsibility, manners and respect.
• Having experience in communication or sales skills is more advantageous.
• Be able to travel for work in the community.
• Have a domicile or can work in Phalanxay district.
• Bruu ethnic essential or speaking Bruu ethnic will be an advantage.
• 18 and above
• High school graduate
