Job Subscription:Westport Estate is seeking a highly responsible individual to fill the role of Santa Claus. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless, world-wide delivery of toys and presents to children on Christmas Eve, following their visit to the Winter Wonderland at Westport Estate.You will be responsible for creating a magical and enjoyable experience for all visitors, working in collaboration with Mrs. Claus and the Elves to extend a warm, festive welcome throughout the Winter Wonderland season.Essential Attributes:

• Ability to foster a festive, joyful atmosphere on the Estate during Winter Wonderland.
• Naturally jolly with a cheerful disposition.
• Love singing and listening to Christmas Carols.
• Create an environment of respect, pride, and camaraderie within the team.
• A warm compassionate demeanor is necessary.
• Theatrical or acting experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication, tact and kindness are essential.
• Good conversation skills, common sense, tact and kindness.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

• Ensure every guest at every age enjoys an immersive and memorable Winter Wonderland Santa experience.
• Skilled in leading and motivating elf staff known for their playful and mischievous nature.
• Deep understanding of Christmas traditions across various cultures.
• Demonstrated ability to determine who has been naughty and who has been nice.
• Ability to impose discipline as required by placing coal in stockings.
• Management of a highly skilled fleet of magical reindeer.
• Ability to project a joyful, hearty, and robust “HO-HO-HO Merry Christmas” consistently.

Desirable Attributes:

• Capable of working in confined or unusual spaces such as chimneys, rooftops, hearths, and window ledges.
• Enthusiastic about consuming large quantities of milk and cookies.
• Beards and round bellies are advantageous but can be provided if necessary.

Education, Training and Experience:

• PHD in all the Business of Christmas to include, the management and administration of manufacturing, warehousing, distribution & delivery systems.
• Several hundred years of experience in a similar role or field is essential.
• Must know your way around a sleigh and have proficiency in sleigh navigation and reindeer steering.
• Thorough knowledge and upkeep of the Naughty & Nice list.
