Join our Sea Logistics team in Aston and become part of our ongoing success story!YOUR ROLEWe are looking for an Head of Strategic Partnership Development. International Supply Chain (ISC) is part of the Sea Logistics Business Unit and focusses on two core services, purchase order and shipment management. In the UK market, these services are well established and for Kuehne+Nagel act to support customer retention but also allow opportunities for cross-selling and upselling of freight and other services. You will be responsible for leading ISC business development activities and driving growth and profitability in the product. The focus will be on delivering new customers, upselling to existing accounts while also improving the efficiency of the wider Business Development team e.g. National Account Managers and Business Unit Sales.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establishing and maintain the relationship with the prospective customer, facilitate a better understanding of their needs and establishing a high level of trust
• Ensure sufficient pipeline to meet UK ISC target
• Guide on Customer Qualification process – New Business opportunities
• Ensure the crucial prospects has the right team in place to unlock the winning strategy
• Enable upselling ISC services to incumbent Sea Logistics customers (as part of Retention)
• Reporting to business leadership on the progress of all live opportunities and budget
• Development and maintenance of UK ISC tariffs
• Being a subject matter expert in all aspects of the ISC products, including technology platforms.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Education in Transport and/or Logistics with a qualification in Logistics, either degree or CILT equivalent
• Solid experience in Commercial Supply Chain Management in senior roles
• Knowledge of UK retail market with account management experience
• Customer obsessed and excellent in anticipating customers’ needs and ensuring we are able to fulfil promises.
• Ability to communicate, build networks, and influence at all levels of the organization and with customers
