Join our Sea Logistics Sales Representative team in Birmingham and become part of our ongoing success story!YOUR ROLEThe Sea Logistics Sales Representative spend most of the time in customer-facing activities, hunting for a new business, and they work hand in hand with the Customer Care teammates. In this role you will have an in-depth understanding of the trade-lane(s) in terms of the geography of the trade (e.g. France to Saudi Arabia, China to Mexico, UK to the USA and so on), and the service offerings such as sailings, transit times, reliability, specific country documentation regulations, local standards, operational requirements, as well as the type of industry/goods/commodity traded on the particular routes.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate new business opportunities with a clear focus on SME
- Take pricing decision in alignment with the relevant stakeholders
- Prepare and submit quotations to the customers
- Demonstrate superior Sea Logistics product and trade knowledge
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and products.
- Use CoreLOG to maintain and update customer information
- Perform the related CRM tasks/activities
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Strong communication skills that bridge gaps and build connections
- Native or C1 English proficiency
- Advanced experience as EDI and software user (e.g.MS Office, CRM System)
