Customer Service, Store Accounting Resource Centre (SARC) – Coordinator, Accounts Receivable (SDM)
Shoppers Drug Mart is currently seeking highly motivated candidates to fill the position of Customer Service, Store Accounting Resource Centre Co-ordinator within our Enterprise Business Services team. This position interacts with internal customers to provide information in response to inquiries. The co-ordinator will be involved in supporting and guiding 1350 stores with inquiries related to financial processes. As part of this role, successful candidate will be focused on training and supporting the stores through the implementation of our Enterprise Accounts Receivable initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing guidance to the stores in reconciling their accounts receivable with what’s being purchased by corporate.
- Supporting stores on setting up their patient and customer master data
- Ensuring store administrators have the skill and knowledge to manage their accounts receivable.
- Identify gaps in accounts receivable processes and facilitate required changes.
- Communicating with retail finance and operations on store execution and identifying where additional training is required.
- Being able to effectively manage high volume of incidents while meeting Service Level Agreements.
- Providing feedback
- Supporting other SDM store related initiatives as required
Requirements and Skills
- Previous applicable retail experience, minimum 2 years or a combination of finance related education and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with management
- Possess a customer centric mindset and have ability to negotiate positive outcomes for both the business and the store
- Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask daily activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with ability to develop strong relationships
- Ability to complete time sensitive tasks effectively.
- Strong working knowledge with Excel/Word/Outlook/Teams working in a Windows environment.
- Familiarity with SAP, HighRadius and Microstrategy systems considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a larger team
- Self-motivated and agile to work remotely when possible
