As a Qualcomm ASIC Engineer, you will define, model, design (digital and/or analog), optimize, verify, validate, implement, and document IP (block/SoC) development for a variety of high performance, high quality, low power world class products. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional groups to determine product execution path.The Security team in Qualcomm, Ireland, develops cutting edge Digital Security IP for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SoCs. These security subsystems perform services including hardware root of trust and secure processing. These IP are certified to the highest security standards, including CPUs, NoCs and Cryptographic accelerators amongst other logic. Team members work directly with security penetration testing, architecture, software and SoC teams in Ireland and other global Qualcomm locations. You will be responsible for leading and participating in the verification of leading-edge Security IPs for Qualcomm’s next generation chip sets.What are we looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
• UVM-based functional verification, or related work experience.
• Experienced with constrained-random verification environment and flow build-up with UVM, Coverage-Driven verification methodology
• Experienced with System Verilog Assertions
• Experience with debugging test failures and report verification result to achieve the expected code/functional/line coverage goals
• Extensive usage of RTL simulation tools.
• Experience using formal verification tools like Jasper or VC_Formal
• UVM, System Verilog, Perl/Python shell-scripting skills
• Exposure to security concepts and implementation techniques is desired.
• Strong familiarity with cryptographic algorithms (SHA, AES, DES), their implementation and use models within high level protocols, is desired
• Excellent communication skills

Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
