As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment within a dynamic technology, media, and telecom location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those on site. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining a strong presence that supports the overall security-related needs of the location. You will also have the opportunity to interact with employees, visitors, and guests, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any unusual activity.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors, offering assistance as needed and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, patrols, and observations as directed by Allied Universal and client protocols.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
