As a Security Officer – Telecom Screener in Lexington, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Screener in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the location. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and screen individuals entering the location, verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns according to established protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
