As a Security Officer – Telecom Site Patrol in Saint Petersburg, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play an important role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the site, helping to deter security-related incidents and remaining highly visible to promote a sense of well-being among employees and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring for unusual activity, responding promptly to any security-related situations, and providing exceptional customer service through clear communication and a helpful presence. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe any unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and report any suspicious behavior or activities to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and other personnel at the location.
• Remain alert to surroundings and potential security-related concerns within a tech, media, or telecom environment.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
