As a Security Professional – Telecom Patrol in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a tech-focused location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a technology, media, or telecom environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding security-related matters.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security experience is required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• California Guard Card is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid guard card or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
