Security Professional – Telecom Patrol

As a Security Professional – Telecom Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Officer in a leading technology environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming environment, while your strong communication skills support positive interactions with employees and visitors. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. This is an unarmed post, focused on providing exceptional service and support within a dynamic tech/media/telecom location.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors.
• Communicate professionally with clients, employees, and visitors while upholding site-specific standards and expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
