Security Professional – Telecom Patrol

As a Security Professional – Telecom Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a tech, media, and telecom environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, primarily through driving, to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming environment, while your strong communication and customer service skills support those on site. Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activity according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and addressing unauthorized access attempts.
• Communicate with site personnel and management regarding security-related incidents and observations.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Texas Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post and prior experience in similar roles is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
