As a Security Professional – Telecom Site – Access Control in New Braunfels, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Screener in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure atmosphere. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with team members and guests, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns or incidents. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
• Maintain detailed records of screening activities and report any suspicious activity or items to the appropriate personnel.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or vendors while performing screening duties.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as required by the site.
• Support the implementation of security-related protocols specific to the tech, media, and telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
