This is what #LifeAtBNYMellon is all about.We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Events & Experiences to join our Marketing and Communications team as a member of the Events & Experiences Center of Excellence. This HYBRID role is located in London.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • With moderate guidance, work collaboratively with event leadership, marketing partners and business stakeholders to support and execute integrated event marketing plans and experiences.
  • Lead the planning and execution of a steady stream of client-facing, commercial-focused events (proprietary, third-party, and virtual); help to elevate our brand through innovative events and dynamic brand activations.
  • Coordinate a variety of business events, sponsorships, and tradeshows from end-to-end; elements of which include, agenda development, vendor/site research, contract negotiation, expense management, catering, audio visual management, budget reconciliation, exhibit management and post-event analysis/success measurement.
  • Create registration websites and custom email communications including invitations, reminders, and confirmations on Cvent.
  • Build and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and cross-functional internal teams, creative services, digital marketing, etc.
  • Provide operational event support, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, branded merchandise research and fulfillment, and other operational support as applicable.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • High-energy self-starter with relevant years of related experience and a passion for organizing unforgettable events and high-touch experiences; strong project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines, juggle multiple priorities and execute flawlessly with incredible attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience working in technology tools such as Webex and Microsoft Teams. Natural comfort level and eagerness to learn new applications and systems.
  • Experience, comfort, and maturity to interact and work well with peers and business partners at all levels, including C-Suite.
  • Proactive and collaborative multitasker with strong verbal, written and overall communications skills; willingness to learn and understand event best practices and work off hours and travel ~20%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, marketing or communications or equivalent work experience
