Stand out opportunity to join one of Birmingham’s leading law firms as a Senior Associate.Our client, a UK Top 50 law firm, is looking to strengthen their Construction and Projects Team at the Senior Associate level. The firm, a clear leader within this space, holds several awards and accreditation for their investment in people.You will join a formidable team, recognised within the L500 as a ‘top tier’ team. Within Birmingham there are 4 Partners, 2 Senior Associates and 5 Associates that work on projects both within the Midlands and nationally with a lineup of exciting and loyal clients. The firm places strong emphasis on the importance of employee wellness and home/life balance and as such offer hybrid and flexible arrangements to working styles.The role itself will be varied in nature but you can expect that most of the work will be non – contentious. Typically, you can expect to be involved in:
- Active participation in marketing initiatives.
- Advising a wide range of publicly funded housing organisations on development schemes and asset management arrangements.
- Advising clients including regional and national contractors and developers, local and central government departments, registered providers operating in the commercial / private and public sectors.
- Advising on all aspects of development through design and construction.
- Advising on asset management contracts and maintenance contracts.
- Advising on decarbonisation projects including SHDF and HUG funded schemes
- Advising on infrastructure projects
- Building and maintaining effective client relationships.
- Providing construction due diligence support to the real estate, corporate and banking teams on acquisitions and disposals.
- Providing construction related procurement advice to public sector clients.

Expected salary
£55000 – 70000 per year
