We are focused on growing a sustainable business centred around our people, our clients and trade partners.Due to our on-going success securing large-scale projects for 2024 we have a requirement for an experienced Building Services Mechanical Designer to join our team in the Dublin Business Unit.The Designer role is a key position in our engineering delivery team. Responsible for the design and coordination of HVAC and utilities in REVIT. A desktop based role with flexibility in hybrid working to work from the office or home. :

• Experience of working and being proactive within a multi-discipline design team, demonstrating technical, coordination and detailing skills.
• Design and Co-Ordination of Building Services Systems in accordance with local, national, and international standards and current best industry practice.
• Attend and participate in client and PM Group meetings.
• Provide technical support and assistance to Engineers, incorporating comments to design as required.
• Preparation of production information drawings in Revit & AutoCAD for Detail Design meeting all project schedule/deliverable dates.
• Implementing PM Group Quality & CAD Revit standards
• Develop plantroom equipment arrangements for HVAC and piped utilities based on equipment selections and schematic design.
• Develop duct/pipe services sizing and distribution layouts based on equipment selections and schematic design.
• Feed development of layout design back into the schematics.
• Develop a clash free design resolving clashes as required with other teams, disciplines and the clash coordinator.
• The ability to manage/mentor other Building Services Revit designers on a project.
• The ability to run model reviews for the project teams as required.
• Experience with the layout design of the following typical systems ,

• HVAC inc Fresh, Supply, Returnx Exhuast Air ductwork and components.
• Specific/Process Exhausts, Fumecupboards, Nederman Arms etc.
• Chilled Water
• Heating Water
• Steam and Condensate
• DX Split Systems
• Compressed Air
• Domestic Water Services and Drainage

:

• Professional qualification in Building Services Engineering (Engineering Degree Preferred)
• Minimum of 7 years post qualification experience
• Completion of Certified Revit Training and proficiency in AutoCAD/Navisworks, with clear understanding of the following for Revit

• AIA BIM Protocol and BIM Fourm Level of Development (LOD) Specification
• PAS 1192-2:2013
• Creation and Sourcing of Revit families.
• Duct/Pipe System and Material Type creation/customisation.
• Template requirements
• View Management
• Visibility Settings
• View Template Set-up
• Worksets
• Phasing
• Schedule Creation
• Sheet Creation
• Excellent technical knowledge and draughting skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Complex industrial building experience
