Join us and contribute to making a positive impact on our community.The RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Geographical Information Systems team, part of our wider Business Intelligence Service. The team are responsible for the maintenance of our Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG) which feeds national datasets, our internal and external mapping platforms (Earthlight and Aurora) and providing mapping support to council wide projects including for our capital programmes.In this role, you will be the council’s technical lead for our geo-spatial data and supporting systems. Supported by our Principal Business Intelligence Lead, and working with a number of BI analysts, you will lead on ensuring our LLPG continues to meet national standards, that our mapping systems are effective and innovative, that we provide mapping support as needed cross-council, and that we deliver on the actions in our GIS Strategy.You will need to have in-depth experience and technical expertise in Geographical Information Systems including how spatial data works and what it informs.You will also need to have significant technical expertise in the following systems:

• Earthlight
• Aurora
• FME
