The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in BI tools, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.Key responsibilitiesData Analysis and Reporting:· Actively contribute to preparation of regular management information reports· Develop and manage interactive dashboards and reports in Business Information (BI) system Qlik to provide procurement insights· Analyze procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings, commodity movements and efficiency improvements· Translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI solutions· Support wider procurement team with adhoc analysis requirementsData Integration and Management:· Collaborate with IT and data teams to integrate various data sources to develop comprehensive BI solutions.· Collaborate with IT and data teams to manage and optimise data warehouses and data lakes· Oversee the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure efficient data flowStakeholder Collaboration:· Work closely with procurement team, finance and operations to understand their data needs and deliver tailored BI solutions· Provide training and support to procurement staff on BI tools and solutions· Liaise with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of BI solutions across the organizationContinuous Improvement:· Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in procurement through data insights· Stay updated with the latest BI technologies and methodologies to enhance reporting capabilities· Lead BI projects and initiatives to advance the maturity of data analytics within procurement.Data Governance and Quality· Create robust process for data governance and quality processes· Drive solutions to improve data quality issues· Actively work with wider business to improve master data and master data processes· Collaborate with the data teams to establish the optimal data quality KPIs for procurement· Coordinate the recurring procurement data governance tasks with the business process ownersKnowledge, experience, and competence· Studied to college or equivalent level.· Minimum of 2 years experience in data analysis· Experience of dealing with wide range of stakeholders, internal and external· High proficiency in excel, including advance formulas and macros· Expertise in BI tool. Experience in Qlik would be advantageous.· Proficient in database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or similar.· Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Vita is an equal opportunities employer.
