What you’ll be doing:Our Senior Commercial Solicitor role is high-profile and varied with plenty of responsibility across multiple business areas.

• You’ll be responsible for drafting and negotiating robust contracts.
• You’ll advise on a wide range of commercial law matters such as consumer law, supply chain & logistics, regulatory and compliance, marketing, data protection and intellectual property.
• You’ll have the opportunity to support large, complex and often innovative projects, as Jet2 continues its strategy of growth and investment.
• You will also help support more junior members of our team, with plenty of opportunity to take on new challenges and develop professionally.
• You’ll work closely with senior management and key stakeholders across the business.

What you’ll have:We’re looking for somebody with at least five years’ post-qualified experience gained at a well-regarded law firm or business, although candidates with less PQE who can demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role will be considered.

• Previous in-house experience and exposure to the travel and aviation sectors are not essential, but would be an advantage.
• You’ll have experience with dealing with complex commercial contracts.
• You’ll have the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment along with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• You’ll also be rigorous but commercial and have excellent attention to detail.
