Your responsibilities will include developing credit risk policies, leading relationships with business areas to understand potential risk impacts, identifying risk management opportunities through data mining, mentoring and coaching colleagues in coding and data analytics, providing advice and adding value to business projects, documenting and presenting results, and staying updated on research techniques and regulatory changes. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from various areas of the bank and gain exposure to senior management, contributing to the growth and success of the organisation. Whether you are an experienced credit risk professional, an aspiring analyst, or someone with an academic background wanting to venture into financial services, this role offers an exciting opportunity to join our growing Credit Cards or Loans Credit Risk team. You bring a broad knowledge of retail lending products and have experience in retail credit risk, coupled with proficiency in computer-based software statistical packages such as SAS, R, Python, or SQL. With exceptional numeracy skills and a degree or relevant experience in a related discipline, you are well-versed in data mining applications and possess the ability to analyse complex data to develop credit risk policies and lending strategies.
