Partnered with a leading consulting firm who are looking add additional headcount to their economic advisory team due to double digit growth.The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside industry experts & partner mainly with a variety of government agencies as they come to grips with the major societal challenges in Ireland- such as housing, climate change etc..A day in the life..
- Collaborating with your peers in drafting tenders and building proposals for the business.
- Acting as subject matter expert to various government agencies across health, housing, climate change etc – liaising with senior C-Suite stakeholders
- Being an SME in delivering Infrastructure Guidelines and/or Green Book requirements such as Strategic Assessment Reports, Preliminary Business Cases and Final Business Cases.
- Project & People Leadership from tender drafting through to final project delivery.
- Mentoring & managing junior staff members; report writing, data analysis etc.
What you will need to qualify for this role:
- Educated to a minimum Masters level in Economics, Business or a related discipline
- Proven economic and financial modelling capability.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working on public and/or private tenders – experienced building proposals for commercial engagements.
- Experience liaising with senior leaders on best practices for project management and budgeting of engagements.
- People person with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring junior team members
- Core understanding of Public funding and/or Infrastructure Guidelines/HM Treasury Green Book Compliance.
