Senior Electrical Design EngineerWe are seeking an exceptional Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead and transform our client’s engineering team. This role is critical in driving innovation, maintaining design excellence, and mentoring junior engineers while delivering best-in-class engineering solutions.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage comprehensive Electrical Design across projects of all sizes
- Provide quality control for Electrical Engineering projects across multiple offices
- Manage project cost control and team performance
- Represent the company in client meetings, surveys, and training sessions
- Collaborate across EDC offices to ensure seamless project delivery
- Mentor and develop engineering team members
- Demonstrate exceptional client care and project management
Essential Qualifications – Technical Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 6+ years of Building Services Consultancy Design experience
- Expert proficiency Amtech, Relux/Dialux
Electrical design areas including:
- Lighting & Emergency Lighting
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Small Power and Data
- Fire Alarms / CCTV & Intruder Alarms
- MV/LV Power Distribution
Professional Skills
- Proven ability to deliver detailed designs through full design cycle
- Exceptional project management and prioritisation skills
- Strong understanding of multiple building design disciplines
- Commercial awareness
- Leadership qualities with strong team collaboration skills
- Ability to make prompt, disciplined project decisions
- BIM experience
- Experience with international project management
