We’re recruiting a Senior HR Business Partner to join our client in Westmeath.
The Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for recruitment and onboarding, employee engagement, learning & development, career development, pay and benefits, employee relations, industrial relations, employment law and compliance, reporting and strategic HRM.

Responsibilities
- Lead HR strategy alignment with Company Values, Strategy & Operational goals, ensuring compliance with Irish employment laws and WRC regulations.
- Develop/update HR, Recruitment, and Payroll policies in line with ROI employment legislative requirements.
- Manage employee data accuracy and GDPR compliance. Generate and analyze reports on absenteeism, HR KPIs, headcount, turnover, surveys, recruitment, and payroll.
- Provide actionable insights, coach managers, and oversee the recruitment process.
- Develop and implement workforce plans, job descriptions, and competency frameworks.
- Establish a reward and recognition strategy.
- Cultivate relationships with colleges, agencies, and manage CSR initiatives.
- Conduct training needs analysis, deliver HR, Recruitment, and Payroll training.
- Support Senior Management on people capability. Drive internal/external communications and CSR Strategy.
- Design employee engagement benchmarks.
- Foster a positive HSEQ culture and ensure quality standards.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and legible documentation.
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources or related discipline
- 3+ years’ working experience as an HR Business Partner/HR Generalist
- Working experience in performance management processes and Irish and UK employment law
- Experience coordinating employee engagement, CSR, and ESG initiatives
- Experience implementing best Recruitment, HR & Payroll practices and reporting
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated skills in Performance Management, Employee/Industrial Relations, and Pay & Benefits
- CIPD Qualified (desirable)
