Senior J2EE EngineerOne of my clients is a payment solutions provider company that is hiring a Senior Software Engineer who will be responsible for the design and development of backend, service and portal systems that reside on their payment processing platforms.What do you need to succeed?– 6+ years of professional experience as a software engineer working in a full-stack capacity.– Expert level of understanding of Linux development.– Extensive experience with server-side product development with Java.– Experience working with JPA, Hibernate, MySQL, WildFly, Tomcat.– Strong web client programming skills, including HTML, JavaScript and CSS.– Understanding of both public and private cloud computing and networking stacks.– Experience with XML / XSLT, SQL, database design, message-oriented-middleware, caching, and systems integration.Is an advantage if you have:– Experience with MySQL 5.7+ with InnoDB– Working knowledge of JAX-RS & RESTEasy– Experience developing modern front-ends with ES6+ and React and related tooling.Why should I be interested?– Fully Remote work (from Ireland).– Competitive salary– Unlimited holidays.– Private Medical Insurance (for the individual).– Work-from-home allowance– Home office setup allowance– Pension contribution.– Please note that we only accept candidates with an EU Passport or a valid Visa to work in Ireland.Want to learn more?
