Join this well-established company in the reinsurance industry as a Senior Java Engineer. This top 10 global giant is expanding their customer-facing services team and, as a result of that, is on the lookout for Senior Engineers like yourself.Specifically, they’re looking for a Senior Java Engineer with a huge focus on the Java/Spring/Azure tech stack to contribute as part of their expansion. The projects you’d be contributing to vary from massive scale application revamps (regarding one of their main Java/Spring services) to smaller projects with the goals of processing data.The cool aspect of this role is the variety of tech stacks you’d be able to interact with – they are looking for someone particularly strong with Java/Spring/Azure, however, they also have services running on Python + Django/Flask/FastAPI, and complex and interactive UIs with Angular/React, meaning you’d be able to upskill in these technologies as well!The ideal candidate for this Senior Java Engineer role will have at least 5 years of experience in the industry with the Java/Spring tech stack, along with cloud-based software (preferably Azure). Experience with Python, its frameworks and Angular/React is a huge bonus, but is not mandatory.Hybrid model of work: The client company has a mandatory in-office policy of 2 days/week (Tuesday and Thursday). Candidates outside of the Greater Dublin area or outside of Ireland will not be considered.You will:

• Build new features and applications with Java, Angular, Python and more
• Join a well-established team of strong developers and systems engineers
• Make an impact by participating in key projects for the company

You have:

• 5+ years of experience in the industry with Java and Spring
• Experience with Azure or any other cloud-based software
• Eagerness to learn and a self-starter mindset
