Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Legal Counsel to join their growing In-house function. This is a unique and rare opportunity to join a Bank in Leeds and work on Finance transactions and support on delivering the banks key objectives.The Senior Legal Counsel will deal with a range of responsibilities including;

• Leading on a range of deals across asset and project finance and equity deals
• review infrastructure transactions
• act as a trusted partner with stakeholders across the bank to mitigate risk
• work with colleagues to support the bank on delivering their core objectives
• monitor performance of legal suppliers
• support on managing juniors in the team

• A background in Banking & Finance
• Ideally In-house experience gained through secondments or working in-house
• Ties to Leeds
• A track record of handling large finance transaction
• High degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas.
• Excellent judgement and analytical skills.
• First class interpersonal and communication skills.
