Sr. Network Engineer

Position Overview:

The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network solutions for our clients, with a strong emphasis on Layer 2 and Layer 3 services. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in network technologies and have experience with service provider network infrastructure technologies, including DDOS protection and CGNAT. This role requires a customer-facing professional who can assist in presenting solutions, conduct assessments, determine the best solutions and delivery of our services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and deliver Layer 2 and Layer 3 network solutions for service providers.
• Specialize in network technologies to deliver high-quality network infrastructure services. (Juniper)
• Utilize expertise in DDOS mitigation, CGNAT, and other service provider network infrastructure technologies.
• Develop and present detailed network designs and solution proposals to clients.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored network solutions.
• Ensure network security, performance, and reliability for clients.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on service provider environments required.
• Active JNCIP-SP required
• Additional certifications such as JNCIE (Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert) or equivalent are highly desired.
• Strong expertise in Juniper network technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network protocols and services.
• Experience with DDOS mitigation, CGNAT, and other service provider technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to clients.
• Proven ability to assist in sales activities and develop strong client relationships.
• Exceptional presentation and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages for network management.
• Familiarity with other network technologies and vendors (e.g., Nokia, Cisco, Arista).
• Understanding of cloud networking and integration with on-premises infrastructure.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
